Final part one and two

Week One Self Portrait

Part one Final
As much as I dislike drawing faces, I still had fun doing this. But that's not to say I didn't get quite frustrated. Countless times erasing and moving the eyes and nose and mouth. Not to mention the facial structure. I focused quite hard on the proportions. I thought I did alright but after about 5 hours into it over a couple of days, I wish it was a bit better. Drawing faces is one of the harder things to do. But I still enjoyed this.

Part Two Final
At first I thought this part would be easier than part one. But since I decided to do mine on an action shot of me playing soccer, it made things a little bit harder. I did it over and over. It turned out to be quite difficult to get the proportions right due to the angles of the clothing and legs threw me off. The hardest thing was probably getting the head and legs to somewhat decent proportions.  Any how, this image is me in my ideal environment "playing soccer". I have other environment that I could have captured my self in that would have been easier. Say me sitting near a computer. But that wasn't really a challenge. After I finished this image I felt like I want to just keep drawing more to see if I can improve upon my action shot type drawings.

Color

Here I used Analogous colors to show the movement of a person.
It really transcends in light to dark from the top to the bottom.
